Some good thoughts...

For our enrichment night last week we had someone from houseoforder.com come and talk with us about the importance of time management and organization (which i am in desperate need of) anyways she gave us some cute little thoughts that make you think about whats really important in life so I just thought I'd share some...

If I had my life to Live over...

• I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained and the sofa faded
• I would have taken time to listen to my grandpa ramble on about his youth
• I would never have insisted that the car windows be rolled up because I just had my hair done
• I would have set my children on the lawn and not worried about grass stains
• I would have cried and laughed...less while watching TV and more while watching life
• I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my husband
• I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretendin gthe earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day
• Instead of wishing away 9 months of pregnancy i'd have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance i had to assist God in a miracle
• When my kids kissed me repeatedly I would have never said "Later. Now go wash up for dinner."
• There would have been more "I love yous"...more" I'm sorrys"...but mostly given another shot at life, i would seize every minute...look at it and really see it...live it...and never give it back.

6 Months....

My baby Linnea is already 6 months old!!!! I can't believe it. She loves to babble and say "daddadadaddad" she loves to explore and touch everything in sight, animals are the funniest things are the planet to Linnea, She loves to sit all by herself, she hates baby food, but will try it, she loves walks with mommy, she loves to feel daddy's beard when he doesn't shave, she loves music, and loves her family! We love Linnea sooo much and are so grateful for her smiles and laughes each day! Here are some pictures from the first 6 months of her life!!!!

Joseph Smith Picture...

Ok I got this email from my mom yesterday and it said that the RLDS church found this picture in their files I guess a few years ago and they believed it to be the ONLY photo of the prophet Joseph Smith, they asked the church to help authenticate it and since then they have stated that it is "almost certainly authentic" so it's not 100% sure if it's him, but they are pretty sure.

They said most of the paintings and portraits of him were done after he was killed and most were just an artist's depiction based on his death mask. So I thought this was kind of cool, it kind of wigs me out for some reason, but it is pretty neat. The church said this was probably taken during his stay at Liberty Jail, he looks soooo young. It made me appreciate more of what he did for this gospel and how young he really was to endure sooo much persecution.

I think he has the nose and light eyes...so kind of cool

Small World...great news...

So I received another great blessing today. Yesterday I met some ladies in my ward who go walking and they invited me to join them...which was fun. So today I go out and there is only one other lady and we started walking together. We just were getting more aquainted and I mentioned I got a job at the restaurant in Lehi, I just added that it would be great if I could work from home because once my school starts I don' t think my heart could handle full time school and part time work and trying to raise Linnea, I just don't feel good about NEVER seeing my family, as most people probably wouldn't feel so hot, so anyways she just mentioned that she had heard that this dental office that is kitty corner to our condo's was looking for someone to call insurance companies for the patients and see what their coverage was and stuff like that and it was an at home job!!! So I decided to give them a call. The lady who answered was really nice and she got excited when I said I was interested in doing the job I told her we just moved up here and I had a baby so I was looking for a stay at home job, she stopped and was like "what did you say your name was?" So I told her and she said that it sounded really familiar so she asked me if I was related to the Whites...(they are my cousins in Bear River) so I told her I was and she was like That's where I've heard your name...I'm your cousin Krista's sister-in-law,what a small world!!!! She got all excited and told me to bring my resume in so I did and they gave me the job!!!! I have a stay at home job so hopefully Derek won't have to get two jobs and I can be with Linnea and Derek so much more. I'm going to keep the Serving job for the summer I think, but once school starts I think that we'll be good with me just working for this dental office!!!! I am soooooo grateful right now. The Lord has answered every single one of our prayers in such amazing ways it has been such a testimony booster since we've moved up here it's wonderful!!!! I hope everyone is having a great day....
